Up and running

Well we are up and running and what a fantastic couple of months!

Firstly some thank yous.

To Zara and Eve from Venture Taranaki. From our first contact it has felt like these two have done everything they possibily could to assist us and put us in touch with the right people and programs.

To Steph and Dan from the Powerup Program. Great opportunity for us to learn about the elements of starting up a business that were new to us. Also to the other particpants – it was great to network and share our learning experience.

To Emma from Vetent. Thank you for help and support and not least your enthusiasm.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a Callaghan Innovation ‘Getting Started’ Grant.

We are also thrilled to have been selected as one of five finalists for the PowerUp Kickstart Customised Programme and Ideas Competition. We are two weeks into our journey towards the finals night on June 29. As part of the programme we have teamed up with mentor Bridgit Hawkins and we look forward to sharing our journey with her.

So what about the science? Frey was in Te Puke last week taking the herd samples – mucus, saliva, urine and milk. Ably assisted by Ata, Roy and Eli – thanks guys. We are in the process of securing laboratory space with Callaghan in Lower Hutt. Frey is poised to do what he does best – research and proving the results.
